Per vagina (PV) bleeding in early pregnancy

Bleeding in early pregnancy is a traumatic experience for women who are expecting the birth of normal healthy babies. Managing this situation can be traumatic for both patients presenting to A&E and the clinicians who must manage them. Emergency nurse practitioners (ENPs) have proven their worth in terms of improving quality of care for many A&E patients and there is now tremendous pressure on them to advance their practice.
