Nurse struck off for stealing a physician associate’s identity

The nurse misrepresented herself to get a job as a senior lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University, claiming she had a physician associate qualification. A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) fitness to practise (FtP) panel found she misprepresented herself as another person by using documentation with that person’s details and qualifications to get the job, and again when these details were asked for by the university after concerns were raised about her qualifications. She was also found to have previously lied in a job interview about passing her physician associate national examination.
