Nurses’ high-pressure court work pushes many to think of quitting

Learning disability nurses say demands of Court of Protection work is putting them under intolerable pressure, coming as it does on top of other caseload responsibilities. An RCN survey found that one third of respondents had either quit their jobs or were considering doing so as a result of legal aspects of their work. Learning disability nursing leaders want employers to give staff more support in preparing for court work.
