NMC sets out principles for advanced nurse practitioners

The Nursing and Midwifery Council's principles for advanced practice aim to provide better clarity and support, and also help with an understanding of what an advanced nurse practitioner does. The principles are part of the regulator’s wider work to regulate advanced practice, where staff typically take on more complex and expert roles
