Nurse admits wilful neglect after woman fell from wheelchair
Nurse pleads guilty to wilful neglect and two other care home workers admit making false statements over an incident in which an 84-year-old woman experienced a broken femur after falling from a wheelchair which did not have a functioning lap belt. She died weeks later of pneumonia but they are not accused of causing her death. They were granted bail and will be sentenced in February.
