Nurses’ NHS mileage allowance rate to be cut from new year
Mileage reimbursement for community nurses on NHS Agenda for Change contracts using their own vehicles to visit patients at home in England will be cut due to a fall in fuel prices over the past year. The Queen’s Institute of Community Nursing has criticised the move, which it says comes at a time when staff are already struggling with workload pressures
