Two people arrested over alleged racial abuse of NHS nurse in park
Two people have been arrested after NHS nurse Apple Moorhouse was allegedly racially abused in a park in Halifax, West Yorkshire, on 29 August. Ms Moorhouse, who moved to the UK from the Philippines and has worked in the NHS for more than a decade, said following the incident she would leave the health service. She has since expressed gratitude for the public support she has received. The suspects have been bailed as police continue their investigation.
