Mental health: applications open for £1,000 nurse well-being grant

The RCN Foundation Amin Abdullah grant offers up to £1,000 for UK nurse applicants for projects and initiatives to support nursing colleagues’ well-being and mental health. Set up in memory of Amin Abdullah, who died by suicide after he was dismissed from his job in 2016, the grant can be used to fund nurse-led initiatives such as safe-space debriefs, workshops and well-being days, and dealing with challenging clinical scenarios. Two 2024 projects focused on anti-bullying education and well-being support for internationally educated nurses
