NHS pay: letter raises nurses’ hopes of timely pay award next year

Health and social care secretary in England Wes Streeting triggers NHS pay review process early for 2026-27 and commits to bringing next year’s pay announcement forward in move to achieve timely pay awards following long delays in past two years. He cautions that any pay rise will be funded from departmental budgets and no additional money will be available.
