Nurse suspended for secretly working two full-time jobs

Nurse Zwelani Ndlovu has been suspended by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) following fitness to practise hearings, which heard that she was working two full-time nursing jobs simultaneously in 2021. She worked day shifts at Mersey Care NHS Trust and night shifts at Cygnet Health Care, caring for vulnerable patients, while breaching job terms and risking patient safety. The NMC panel found Ms Ndlovu’s actions dishonest and an abuse of her position of trust.
