Leadership challenges: how would you handle them as a nursing student?
Nursing students learn how to manage challenging situations and practise collective leadership in scenario-based education days. They are given leadership challenges designed to support them in developing their communication, teamwork, delegation and time management skills for dynamic and challenging events in clinical practice. Students reflect on what they have learned from the experience and how this will inform their nursing practice. The initiative is run by RCN Northern Ireland.
